Who we are
We are the proud members of Nalanda College Colombo – Class of 1992, united by shared memories, lifelong friendships, and a deep commitment to our alma mater. The Nalanda ’92 Group was formed to reconnect, support one another, and collectively give back to the school that helped shape our lives.
Over the years, we have come together not only to celebrate milestones and organize memorable events with our families, but also to contribute meaningfully to Nalanda College through various initiatives. Whether it’s educational support, infrastructure development, or community outreach, our efforts are driven by unity, gratitude, and purpose.
This platform is created to register and maintain member profiles, enabling smoother communication, event planning, and coordination of group activities. It also helps us strengthen the bonds within our brotherhood and extend our values to the next generation through active involvement and service.
We believe in preserving our shared heritage while inspiring each other to move forward — as Nalandians for life.
News & Events
The Nalanda College ‘92 Group came together on Friday (27th June) at the Fingara Country Club for its Annual General Meeting and was indeed a meaningful evening of leadership, reflection, and renewed purpose. We are proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Madura Gamanayake as the new President, along with the induction of our newly appointed committee members.
What followed was Brothers’ Night, a night of timeless spirits, laughter, and unshakable brotherhood. The atmosphere came alive with an unplugged performance by Sanjeewa Lonliyes, whose soulful, rustic voice echoed through the night, striking a chord with every heart.
Here’s to brotherhood, music, and memories that only grow stronger with time.
